The tiger said, “Sir, please come here and take this bangle”. The traveler replied, “You are a wild animal. How can I believe you? I won’t come.”
The tiger said, “Alas! Sir, please listen. I am not what I used to be. I have completely changed. I have killed a lot of people and animals in the past. I am repenting for the wrongs done in my life. You look like a good person and hence I would to give this bangle. Kindly accept this bangle. But before you take it please take bath and come.”
The traveler got greedy. He went into the lake to take a bath and got stuck in the mud. He realized what happened. Now the tiger might eat him. He repented for being greedy. The tiger was watching him and said, “Don’t worry! Are you stuck? I will come and help you” and saying so the tiger pounced on the traveler.
The traveler quickly hit the tiger’s mouth with his stick. The tiger fell back with the stick in its mouth and could not bear the pain because of which he could no longer eat anyone. The traveler learnt his lesson for being greedy. The tiger learnt a lesson for not being truthful and deceiving others for food.
