Aman is going by a lake. He sees a scorpion drowning in water. The man picks a leaf and lifts the scorpion out of water. The scorpion after coming out of water, stings the man’s hand. The man leaves the leaf in pain and the scorpion again falls into the water. The man again picks another leaf and tries to take the scorpion out. The scorpion again bites him and the story repeats. The moral of the story is that, it is the nature of the scorpion to sting and it is the nature of the person to save. The quality of the person is daya.
Think and Answer:
1. What does the man do to save the scorpion?
2. What does the scorpion do in return? Why does it do so?
3. What is the man’s nature? What should he do even after the scorpion stings him? (Hint: associated with the moral)
4. Is the scorpion evil?
