the monkey asked him to wait for a while. He watched the monkey jump from tree to tree as he went to the spot where the other monkeys were sitting on the tree busily eating fruits. Quietly he picked up the traveller's bag from under that tree and brought it back to the traveller. He was happy that his
monkey friend helped him in need.
Months later, for a business he had to go to another town so he happened to pass through the hills. Somehow he got lost amongst the trails and was clueless where to go now. Disappointed, he sat under a tree when suddenly a deer appeared from behind the bushes. Recognizing the man, the deer said “friend, what are you doing here?” Seeing the deer, the man was very pleased and told him his problem. Deer said, “No problem! Just follow me and I’ll lead you to the city road”. Grateful for the
help, the man thanked the deer and continued on his journey.
One evening when he was going through the jungle he heard a loud roar and got really scared and started to run. He stopped when he heard the lion saying, “Don’t be afraid. I am your friend. Don’t you remember me?”, he asked.
“Are you the lion of the well?” the man enquired. “Yes you are right. Come to my cave and be my guest”, said the lion.
