Once there was a man who did not have any shoes. He always complained to God that he had no shoes. He visited a temple once to demand God for shoes. When he came to the temple, he saw a man who had no legs.
He thought, “Oh. Why am I so ungrateful? Look at this man. He does not even have legs. I should be thankful to God that at least I have legs.” Thinking thus, he left the place with gratitude1 in his heart instead of complaint.
