P. 3

Once upon a time there were seven weavers who started on a moonlight journey. They had not gone very far from their home when they got lost. After trying to find their way, they came to a field of flax. The flax was in bloom and had beautiful blue flowers. As the colour of the flowers looked the same as that of water the weavers thought the blooming field of flax to be a river.
They took off their clothes and decided to swim through. After quite an effort they got across. To ensure that no one had drowned, they took the precaution of counting themselves before resuming their journey; but soon they discovered that one of them was missing, as each of them forgot to count himself.
Grieved at the loss of one of their brethren they did not have the heart to pursue their journey and so returned home.
Moral: Do not lose sight of the little things while doing any task.
