P. 8

Once upon a time, a greengrocer and a potter hired a camel. Each filled one side of the pannier with his goods.
Now as the camel went along the road, he took a mouthful of vegetables every now and then, as he had a chance from the greengrocer’s bag. This made the potter laugh, who thought that he had got the best of the bargain.
However, soon it was time for the camel to sit, and he naturally sat on the heavier side, bearing down on the pots, and also to have his mouth free to reach the bag of greens.
This caused the pots to break in the bag, and this time the green grocer laughed to his heart’s content.
Moral: Do not ridicule at other’s inconvenience.
