After some days, as Nandita peeped into the nest, she saw three eggs in there. She was thrilled at the sight of eggs and ran downstairs to tell her mother. There she saw that Deepak and his mother had come. Seeing Nandita, Deepak came to her and apologized for hurting the birds.
Nandita smiled at him and took him to her room. When Deepak saw the eggs of the birds he too was thrilled. “I cannot wait to see the babies coming out of them”, he said excitedly.
"We have to be patient. The birds sit on their
eggs to warm them. Then in some days the
eggs will hatch and baby birds will be here”, told
Nandita. They both watched the eggs daily with
patience. One morning, as Nandita peeped into
the doll house to look for babies, she saw three small
beaks, wide open, shrieking hungrily for food. Nandita’s happiness knew no bounds. She jumped down hastily, to make way for the parents carrying in the food. She gave a happy laugh. “I must tell Deepak!”, she shouted and rushed off to find her new friend.
Just like Nandita had a lot of love and patience for the birds,
we should have a lot of love and patience towards everyone.
We should take care of birds and people with patience. Just like the
birds did not understand Nandita in the beginning, some people will not understand why we are doing something. But if you are patient and explain to them, they will surely see what we are doing.
