Once upon a time, a traveller was passing through a forest. Suddenly he heard someone shouting “Help help!”. He thought
the voice was coming from the nearby well. So he went to look who was inside the well. As he peeped in the well he saw a lion, a monkey and a deer crying for help. They requested the kind- hearted traveller to help them come out.
The traveller lowered a creeper into the well and pulled all the animals up.
All the animals expressed gratitude for the help offered by the traveller. Monkey said, “Do visit me when you come to the mountains. I could be of some service to you.” “So could I if you ever visit the Jungle”, said the lion. “So could I if you happen to be near the hills”, said the deer. Traveller was happy to hear this and
said, “thank you friends, I’ll certainly come to visit you.”
A year later the traveller returned to the same place carrying a bag of gold coins. As he was resting under the tree, a group of monkeys
took away his bag of gold coins and started
to play with it for fun. They did not know that it was precious. Traveller was sad to lose his bag of coins. As he moved further he heard someone calling him.
He turned around and found the same monkey who was very happy to see him. While they talked, the traveller told him how he had lost his bag. Hearing his story
