The whole world has been seeing an unprecedented situation due to the Covid-19 pandemic and educational institutions had to take new initiatives to teach students. Satkama School conducted online classes for grades 1-10 for this academic year.
SSC Students of 2019-20 batch did extremely well in their tenth exams. Three students got 9.8 GPA, 4 students – 9.7 GPA, 2 students – 9.5 GPA, 3 students got between 9 and 9.3 GPA and 3 students – 8.8 GPA.
Bharath Akurathi and Kavya Bai Kimavath of Class X participated in Kala Utsav 2020 online drawing competition. Bharath Akurathi got selected for District level drawing competition.
Class ten students have shown their prowess in using technology to create interesting videos on Teachers Day and sketch of Pujya Babuji Maharaj.
We were able to obtain G Suite for Education, free of cost. It included emails for the students to login into classrooms and submit worksheets, Classroom facility for the teachers to take online video classes.
During this academic year, students did extremely well in SSC board exams. 12 students appeared for the examination. Seven students got 9+ GPA – the highest being 9.7, one student got 8.7 GPA and four students got 7.5+ GPA
A. Bharath won gold medal + Mega Child Award cash prize of Rs 1000 in Konaseema Chitra Kala Parishad All India Art Competition. Only five such prizes are given at All India level. The other gold medal winners are Anjani and Pallavi, Class X and Sushanth, Class VII.
Agastya International Foundation conducted a National Level Science Model Making Competition, Jignyasa 2020. A. Bharath, Class IX and Vasudev, Class IX won consolation prize for their model Fuel Farmer through Pyrolysis Process using garbage under State Level. They were awarded a cash prize of 1500 Rupees.
School is very proud of the students who participated in Drama competition organized by Telangana Sangeeta Nataka Academy. ‘Ananda Jeevanam’ the drama based on happy living following Pujya Babuji Maharaj methods and choreographed by Mrs. Usharani (Telugu teacher) got through the district level competitions and was highly appreciated for the performance of students by the judges.

Students of 8th, 9th and 10th grades participated in PCRA (Petroleum Conservation Research Association) quiz, essay writing and painting contests. Chinmayee, 6th Class and Lohana, 7th Class won Best School Entry – Painting (Juniors Category). Shruti, 9th Class and Laxmi Prasanna, 10th Class won Best School Entry – Painting (Seniors Category). Bharath, 8th Class and Viswesh, 9th Class won Best School Entry in English Essay Writing on the subject of Oil & Gas conservation. Vishwesh, 9th Class and Rishikesh Joshi, 10th Class were selected as part of the Best Team from School for District Level quiz.
Staff and students of the school contributed Rs 5000 to Prime Ministers Relief Fund in the wake of the Kerala floods. School received a thanking letter from the Prime Minister’s Office for the generous contribution.
On the occasion of 3rd World Tsunami Awareness Day, Viswesh, 9th Class, Bharath, 8th Class, Neehal, 8th Class, Avinash, 7th Class and Aniruddh, 7th Class presented their models on Tsunami to the guests and visitors of INCOIS. They were appreciated and given prizes for their exhibits.
.Four students were represented in this year’s District Level INSPIRE Science Exhibition. Tarun and Sriram, 6th Class with “Sewage Water Treatment” model, Haritha and Srimayi, 7th Class with “Zero Budget Natural Farming”, Bharath, Ramcharan and Neehal, 8th Class with “Village Rakshak” and Vishwesh and Lokesh, 9th Class with “Modern Industry” models. Judges appreciated the models, creativity and the students’ efforts. Two students Viswesh and Haritha won in the District Level and were represented in the State Level INSPIRE Science Fair.
Four students, Nitisha, 7th Class, Lohana, 7th Class, Bharath, 8th Class and Pallavi, 9th Class won gold medals in Konaseema Chitra Kala Parishad National Art competition.
Anjani and Abhishek, 9th Class and Bharath, 8th Class participated in the Inter School quiz contest conducted by INCOIS. They won the second prize.

School has participated in Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar award, an initiative by Govt. of India under ‘Swachh Bharat Swachh Vidyalaya’ scheme. We are proud to share that we got 4 star rating and are selected to participate in District Level category.
Digital Classes in each subject is included as part of the timetable this year. One class per week in a subject is included as a digital class to enable visual learning and better understanding in students
Smt Usha Rani, Higher class Telugu teacher participated in World Telugu District level Conference. She participated in Kavi Sammelanam program and was honored by the organisers.
