Firstly, I am very thankful to the school and teachers. Meditation which I learnt in school

helped me to control my anger and I am working with a calm and stable mind because of the practice of meditation which I am following till now.

I am supporting my family strongly while facing all the hurdles. This is because of those ethics and morals learnt in school. Right now, I am in a position to decide the ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ of my life. Although I am ‘wrong’ sometimes, honestly I can say I am ‘wrong’ and have the courage to accept the mistake. Everyone in life does mistakes but accepting those mistakes is necessary. To accept our mistakes, we need courage. This is one of the most valuable morals that I learnt from my schooling.

On a page, I cannot describe the things I learnt in school but I am happy and proud to say that I am a student of ‘Satkama’.… Read the rest

I have to thank our school for teaching great values. To be a good human, all these values are very useful. Each and every value that was taught in our school is making us a very special person in the society. Till 10th class life is perfect but college life and outside world is different.

I understood that the world around me was running behind worldly pleasures. Caring, helping, cooperation, patience etc made me a human being. These values made us know our goal. The people around me were working for jobs and financial support but we have to learn that our goal is happiness.

There is lot of difference between pleasure and happiness. In this competitive world, our school taught us every individual has their own capacity and not to compare with others. In society, many people are there who drag us in to many bad things but if we stick to our values, no one can do that. Winning or failure never brought too much happiness or depression.

The School taught us to balance emotions and stay balanced in any situation. I am able to stay as me in all situations. I am not carried away with useless thoughts. Following some of the moral values has made me a respected person in society. When we are in school, values are just values but once after stepping out we understood their importance.

The school has taught me how to stay honest in difficult situations. Praying before eating food, universal prayer improved good habits in me. Our school taught us to do small things in a dedicated and sincere way. It taught me to be happy and content. I learned to value people and not money.

I am very much thankful to Satkama High School for giving me an opportunity to study in this school. At first, I didn’t find any difference between other schools and our school but slowly I came to notice it. The school management treated us as their own children. They brought us up just as a plant in their own garden and taught us values.

Each and every value is useful for me in the present society. I can easily control my anger as compared to before. I can also see happiness in small things. We are capable to handle any situation even if it is sadness or happiness. We learned meditation. At present, I am not doing, but when I am tensed if I meditate I become normal.

The school provided education without any kind of stress. The values not only help us as we are now, Sri Ramchandra’s ten Commandments also help us in our regular life. Moral stories are also very useful. They helped me as sometimes I feel the stories are playing in front of my eyes in some situation in my life.

My thanks to teachers and special thanks to Sahaj Seva Samsthan.… Read the rest

I have learnt so many values in our school. They gave us new confidence to face different situations at many times. They are not only to know but also for applying in our daily life. I had met so many people with different attitudes but I am still being myself without having any impact. I have come to know how to behave in outside world.

My school made my attitude as to be a good citizen. Now I have confidence that I can face any situation and I can deal it with help of these values. Today I feel proud and confident that I can be a good citizen and I will be a good citizen.

This reminds us of the message of the Great Master, Pujya Sri Ramchandraji Maharaj of Shahjahanpur, UP “Education causes only an expansion of brain, whereas the most essential factor for the expansion of mind is culture which puts the channels of our thoughts and actions in order. Mere reading of books without a close study of the heart’s books is of no avail.”Read the rest

It still feels like just yesterday at school where we tried to inculcate the weekly highlighted value. After passing out of school I realized our school was not just a different school, it is a different world which has nurtured in us the real attitude required for leading a satisfactory life.

Every day now in my professional life I realize the sensitivity and contentment towards work and society which got into my behaviour. Putting in the best into work, personal and spiritual life and being balanced without taking the effect of any failure and success. Meditation on divine light needs a special mention which has now become part and purpose of life. The thirst towards spiritual development and the will to do service has now become goal of my life. Read the rest

First of all, after coming to this school I came to know “Service to mankind is service to God” because in my opinion, servicing – giving free education to small children for their better future is equal to service to mankind. So that some of them will be helpful to the country. I am really happy that I came to know how to serve others up to our level. So many members behind this school are helping to move forward. I think we can’t do as much as they had helped the school. But in our daily life, we should help others or small children for their future.

Before I came to this school, I don’t know how to interact or talk with others and give respect to elders, how express my views without any difficulty. But after coming to this school I came to know all these things – how to give respect to the elders and how to express my views, mainly from my friends whether they are smaller or younger than me and mainly from teachers and Swamy Sir. Sometimes when I used to go to Gopi’s house, his mother also helped me in talking with others. So that, I think now I am better in talking with others or giving respect to others. In another school, I used to fear when I won’t talk with anybody but now I can freely talk with anybody without any fear. In the school I studied before, I used to fear coming to the stage and perform anything before others because of their laugh. Everybody laughs if we say any wrong answer. But now I can perform anything on stage without fear.

Not only this, different from other schools, I learnt value-based education which is helpful for our own future development and to become a perfect human in the society. I am really proud to study in this school learning this type of education. Mainly I learned here is cooperation with each other and the main aspect I learned here is not feeling bad for that which is over but should think about the next. Not only this, I learned friendliness with everyone. I came to know here the value of cooperation which is different from competitiveness. The important one is the ‘Meditation’. After coming to this school, I came to know about meditation & its importance. Really to say I changed a lot from a part of my behavior because of doing meditation. I felt peacefulness in my studies also. After knowing about the commandments and following them daily, rising before dawn and doing prayer has changed me a lot. By doing this daily, I changed in some way or other but I can’t find it. By doing meditation daily, I know that ‘for every question, there is a solution in us only’. By seeing all the members’ aspirations, I had a wish to help the country in some or other aspect.
